Thanks to Thanh Thanh for her inspiration - I was able to create lots of new penguin accessories! Mr. Green is carrying a blanket. Mrs. Green has a bottle in her hand. They have two baby penguins. One has "Baby" written on his bib. The other is wearing a bib & has a pacifier in his hand. Mr. Red is wearing a bow-tie and some gloves. His teenage son has a punk hairstyle. Mrs. Blue is wearing a hat and scarf. Her MIL is wearing a blue & yellow necklace. Her daughter is wearing a corsage w/matching shoes.

The base is a jumbo cupcake; the ears are 2 regular cupcakes carved into the shape of an ear; the snout is another cupcake carved to shape; the red nose is a gumdrop; and the antlers are candycanes held together with icing; the eyes are just piped regular icing. Chocolate cupcakes covered with chocolate frosting - overall, one tasty 3D reindeer!!
I made this cake for McKenzie's birthday! It's just a 6 inch, banana cake with MMF. I tried a banana carmel icing recipe and it didn't hold up very well.. hence you can see the ripples in the side a bit. Oh well.. ya live and ya learn. It still turned out cute!

My friend had twins a couple of weeks ago and so I made little doll dresses for their blessing day! This is #1. It will be followed by doll #2 shortly. It's Wilton fondant.

I saw a picture by Nefgaby on here that was just beautiful. It was very inspirational to me! Mine doesn't look a lot like hers for two reasons. 1. She's much more talented and 2. I wanted to change it up so that it wouldn't be exactly the same. I had a lot of fun making this cake!

I made this cake for my mom's 50th birthday party a couple of days ago! This is only my 3rd fondant cake... so I was pretty happy with it. There's a lot I would change if I could do it over...but it worked out ok! And I learned what I was supposed to! Let me know what you think. And yes, it's not your imagination.. it's leaning a bit. =o) I'll get there!
