Not too thrilled with this one. Seems like it was missing something. MOB wanted coral callas, and "something pretty". Made the flowers from gumpaste and painted with airbrush colors...have no idea what I mixed, pink, yellow,blue, more pink... Strawberry cake, cream cheese.
Rice Krispie/modeling chocolate. This was a family effort since we all had very busy days and didn't get started until late. My mother in law (LOVE her) iced the cake, and my husband and I made the frog and big wheel. Chocolate Ameretto Cake with Choco bc.

My M-I-L asked me to make a baby shower topper for her cake this weekend. base is a RKT with fondant overlay, fondant baby.

Variation of witches fingers. same cookie, just with green buttercream around nails and honey glazed almonds. Strawberry fondant "bones" My husband took them to his squadron, and all the guys said, "Gross!" But then proceeded to clear the tray, LOL
This was my very first wedding cake, I was SO nauseous delivering it because I just knew it would fall over, but it didn't!! I made the calla lillies out of gumpaste (Thanks to Awesome Edna!)

My husband made this because I had a wedding disaster! I made a 3 teir and a grooms cake and had to throw the groom's cake away and start over at about midnight last night. *Don't ask* He took over the baby shower cake and I think he did awesome! I made the baby with a mold. (Never again will I automatically say sure when a friend calls and asks me to make a cake without looking at a calendar!)

I made this for a friend who was eating the ice out of her fast food cup and noticed a half eaten fly! The cake is chocolate with Raspberry filling. My husband made the stand.
Retired Police Chief's wife wanted a cake for his suprise birthday party. She said she didn't care what I did, just wanted it to say happy birthday you old goat. He is now a peach and pecan farmer. This is what I came up with.. Top cake is butter pecan/vanilla bc. Bottom cake is chocolate/strawberry bc. And peach basket cake is yellow cake/peach bc filling and peach flavored fondant. Made the individual peaches with a pan I got from fantes.com
chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream. Simple cake, the bride just wanted a snow covered mountain with her groom snowboarding and she emailed me a picture of his board. I DID clean up the bottom and smoothed it before I took it 3 hours south.
This was for the rehearsal dinner. Horse is RKT, B&G are fondant (ugh) still am not grasping how to attach the arms without them falling off! Haystacks are RKT with Royal icing.
Chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling and choco bc icing. Pastor's wife said he liked "eagles and pictures of the world". He also is always saying how he loves corvettes, so my husband made him a fondant one to put on his "desk". Globe is styrofoam ball covered in fondant with fondant base and eagle. Bible is RKT, pen and paper is fondant.
My version of all the great Elmo cakes here on CC. Elmo is RKT covered with fondant and buttercream. Butter cake, vanilla bc.
Top tier is marbled cake with strawberry bc, bottom is marble with whipped cream icing and chocolate dipped strawberries filling with strawberry bc iced. Music notes are from M.H.A.L.L.- mom to be was a music major and baby's name will be Melody. Lamb is fondant. TFL!!

This was originally supposed to have Wolverine and Sabretooth crawling to the top of the cake, but they started falling apart and cracking as soon as I started working with them. (My DH tried to fix Wolverine, hence the beer gut, he did have abs) So, they just sat at the bottom, pieced together with Sabretooths arm around wolverine. I wrote Matthew 5:44 on it b/c the mom didn't really like the whole violent XMen thing anyway. Chocolate cake with Choc BC. MMF on bottom tier.
