This was my first tiered cake, made for a friend who was retiring. SOOO nerve wracking putting it together. WASC cake, fresh raspberry buttercream filling, and amaretto buttercream outside. All the decoration was made with gumpaste, another first, except the ribbon.
Got completely carried away with these! Decorated 220 of them and BOY is my arm tired! My first time trying out wet on wet with glace. I'm pretty happy with them. Sending them to my family all over the country.
Shortbread cookies with glace icing. Made these for a baby shower a friend was putting on. Bagged them, put them in a box and mailed them from Illinois to California.
Peggy Porschen type sugar cookies, although I think they are more shortbreads actually. Tara1970 type glace icing. Got ideas from so many here on CC and trying a little guidance from kneadacookie who is the glace MASTER! Made these to be mailed to my father in law in Florida. Thanks for looking!
A cake for a friends birthday. 6" chocolate variation WASC with champagne buttercream. Tried to do a natural looking lilac growth, I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out. A icing started to crack in a couple spots, not sure why.
White and Chocolate WASC with peppermint buttercream. I alternated the colors, but this was the first one. These turned out so cool, despite the fact that I wasn't sure about the colors. Thanks to many on CC for inspiration, but particularly Diane's Cakery who sent me her instructions!

I offered a cake for a silent auction at hubby's office. The winner wanted it for his girlfriends birthday...LOL! WASC cake, whipped white chocolate ganache filling, champange buttercream. They loved it, which is good since they gave me NO flavor or decor direction.
Spice cake with WASC adaptation, Cheesecake filling (Philly pre-package works great!), cinnamon buttercream. This cake turned out to be a huge hit, everyone loved it. I thought maybe I'd gone too far with flavors, but I guess not!
