First Wedding Cake
This was the 2nd marriage for both, they secretly got married at the courthouse, and are having family and friends over for a "party". When the guests arrive they will see the wedding cake and that's how everyone will know they got married. So a very casual reception, but since I have never done a wedding cake(for that matter I haven't done many cakes period) and it had to look like a wedding cake for everyone to understand, I was soooooo nervous! They wanted choc fudge cake with white buttercream-so hard to hide all the choc crumbs even with doing a crumb coat first. :o( I tried everything to get the buttercream smooth, I wish they would have wanted fondant! The roses I did make with fondant-69 of them-UGH! I hope they like it! Thanks for looking!

First Pumpkin Cake
Well, here's my first attempt at a pumpkin cake made with the bundt pans and cone stem-thanks to all the other pumpkin cake makers on here for sharing that idea! I know I could have done a better job with fondant, but wanted to try without. I don't think I got my icing thick enough-it wanted to slide down. It was a chocolate fudge cake, ganache between layers and a caramel buttercream icing. Leaves are fondant. TFL!

First Fondant Roses
Just a little practice cake I did a couple weeks ago. I had been wanting to try do do fondant roses and I thought they came out pretty good so I made this little cake to put them on. Not the best job on the cake I know-I just used a knife to do the lines-I need to find one of those impression mats I keep hearing people mention. TFL!

The Unwanted Birthday Cake :o)
Started out as a birthday cake my husband asked me to do for a woman at his office but then someone else ended up buying one for her-not knowing I had already started one. So since my husband didn't want to make the "store bought" person look bad :o) I took it into the ladies in the office at my boys' school-They didn't mind! Sorry for the bad picture, my good camera is MIA.

Pink & Green
This is my first stacked cake, not for any occasion-just practicing. I have boys and I have never gotten to do anything in pink before so I love the colors! All decorations in fondant. I was just making it up as I went along but I wish I would have made a plan because I'm not real happy with the patterns. Overall I think it looks pretty cute though and am proud of myself for a "newbie". :o)
