Made to surprise my little sister on her return home from a summer in Europe.
It's a miracle this cake even exists. I planned to make it the evening before the birthday party, but there was a power outage due to hurricane Ike. I had only baked half of the cake I intended to. The next morning I had to decorate the cake to the best of my ability with no power, and used sandwich bags to decorate with icing because I did not have my icing bags. I am amazed this cake made it, but it went over really well!
