Cake I made for the cast party when our high school performed GREASE.
14" Butter cake, buttercream icing for crust & sauce, crust also painted with Wilton Ivory Gel, chocolate ganache cheese, chocolate mushrooms & peppers, fruit roll pepperoni. I also sprinkled sugar & used a creme brulee torch to get the charred look.
My daughter was turning 9 & had a birthday party to benefit the Humane Society. Guests brought donations for the animals rather than gifts for her. Cake was iced in BC with fondant animals & gumpaste flowers. HS logo and pawprints were chocolate transfers. I also filled clean dog food bowls with dog bone cookies for the guests.

My dad wanted a fish cake for his b-day so I did a practice cake to try to figure out how to do it. I carved the fish then covered it in rolled buttercream & painted it using clear gel that I tinted myself . Also mixed in some silver luster dust. Fins are gumpaste.

Wizard of Oz cake for my daughter's 5th birthday. Emerald City, tornado & all characters are chocolate transfers. Witches legs & feet are fondant. Everything else is cake & buttercream.

I made this cake for my daughter's dinosaur birthday party. Two different sized dome cakes stacked, chocolate icing & homemade hard candy for lava. A plastic cup lined w/ foil held dry ice in the center to create the smoke.
Made for my daughter's Hawaiian Luau birthday party. I formed the nose w/ fondant & covered with chocolate buttercream. Wood grain was made w/ a toothpick & I bought chocolate rocks at our local candy store.

I did this cake for my MOM's Club Banquet. It was a "Ya-Ya Motherhood" theme w/ sunflower decorations. The cake was golden butter w/ strawberries & cream filling, iced w/ buttercream. The sunflower & letters were made w/ royal icing.
I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. It's the 1st time I ever worked with fondant & I messed up her skirt, but was still pleased with the cake, overall. Snow White, the animals and the flowers are fondant, the rest is buttercream.
