My 11 Year Old Daughter's Birthday Cake
This is a two layer white cake with strawberry filling. The cake's decorated with pink basketweave & a rope border. The top of the cake is literally covered with a varety of royal flowers, butterfly & leaves. The candles were inserted first & the flowers were added around them. The large helium-sized ballon is filled with air & is supported by four 8" lollypop sticks from a package. I added some pink frosting at the tops of the sticks to give it a more completed look. Remove balloon BEFORE lighting.

The Graduation Cake I Designed For My Son's Girlfriend
Tiered cake done in the HS colors, blue and green. One cake is two layers of chocolate filled with raspberry. The other is three layers: white/chocolate/white & these are filled with strawberry. The CNS & 2008 patterns were made by using a font in word & making the letters really big. I cut them out & covered them with waxed paper & then used color flow to make the letters and numbers. I made the old style Wilton butterflies out of royal. After they were assembled & dried totally, I flipped them upside down & added a post with royal. This was a trial, but it worked great & allowed me to put the butterflies on the sides of the cake by pushing the posts into the cake. I wrote: Spread your wings and fly on the top cake as well.

My Daugher's First Communion Cake
White cake with white buttercream frosting. The bottom cake is a 1/2 sheet cake. The top one is a two layer 8" cake with filling. Both cakes are decorated with basketweave sides and ropeborders. The gold Celtic cross is made out of color flow. I found a Celtic cross on the internet that I liked & used that as my pattern. The chalice & grapes were made the same way. The white butterflies are made in royal and the flowers are royal, too.
