Alice In Wonderland
Alice in Wonderland 3-tier cake for my daughter's 18th birthday. Blue resembles Alice's dress -we added the flowers to give it a girlish look. Second tier portrays Cheshire Cat's devilish grin & confusing "THIS WAY, THAT WAY, UP, DOWN" signs. Top tier is modeled after the Queen of Hearts who wanted the roses painted red -and so we did! The roses were spray-painted red (with edible paint). Also, hearts & real playing cards were used in the decoration. All is decorated in fondant.

Pirates Of The Caribbean
Pirate Ship sailing along in a blue-berry jello sea. Sea is infested with gummy candy creatures of the sea (i.e shark, octopus, fish...). I got the pirate ship idea off another site. It was very easy to assemble the ship, but it took me about 5 hrs. total to assemble & decorate it (being my first cake ever) & adding smaller details. Blue jello was my husband's idea for the water (to make it more realistic), and we were both really excited finding the extras like gummy candy sea life, beer barrel candy...

Indiana Jones
This cake was made for my son's 7th birthday. He's a big fan of Indiana Jones. Top tier: Indy is hanging w/his whip over a snake pit (from Raiders of the Lost Ark movie). Bottom tier: Indy is riding w/Mutt (from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). It was fun to make especially getting Dad & teenage daughter involved with the decorating!
