BTM square tier is Red Velvet cake with Cream Cheese filling, TOP round tier is White cake with Strawberry Buttercream filling & icing. Polka dots, stripes & bows are Butter flavored MMF. I really enjoyed doing this cake. Thanks to CC'er brooke1 for the inspiration! Thanks for looking!
Mom saw a cake similar to this one here on CC, not sure whose it is. Both tiers are white cake, bottom had strawberry jam filling & top tier had raspberry filling. All iced in BC. I used the Duff Spray, though you can hardly tell - SINCE I forgot my good camera at home & had to take these pics w/my iPhone. =( Hot pink & dark purple flowers are RI w/Wilton pearlized sprinkle dots for center. Everything else is MMF & luster dust. Tinker Bell doll is real. My first Tinker Bell cake.....I was THRILLED when asked to make this one & loved every minute of it! TFL!
Bottom tier is butter cake w/raspberry filling, iced in BC. Top tier is dark chocolate fudge cake w/ganache filling, iced in dark chocolate BC. Dipped & fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, red & white grapes. I made this for my daughter's pediatric nephrologist & her dialysis care team. TFL!
Bottom tier is white cake with strawberry jam buttercream filling, top two tiers are dark chocolate fudge cake with buttercream filling, all iced in buttercream. Fresh hydrangeas arranged by the bride herself.
This was for my daughter's 6th birthday. Bottom tier is lemon cake filled with cream cheese filling, top tier is butter cake filled with a raspberry filling. Iced in BC and all accents are Almond MMF (my daughter's choosing). My inspiration came from several cakes here on CC. THANKS!!!
All dark chocolate fudge cake, filled with a Chocolate Mousse filling & iced in BC. Covered in Butter MMF. Tiny mushroom is also Butter MMF. Gumpaste flowers bought by the bride (since I cannot yet do myself). Topper was made by the couple. *My stitching border is NOT that straight due to my nerves rattling from the top tier 'sliding' on the 1 1/2 hr drive to the wedding.

Made this one for my BFF's 30th birthday. Shopping bag cake is chocolate fudge cake w/BC filling & icing. Purse is french vanilla cake w/strawberry jam filling & BC icing. This is my first attempt on everything....the purse, MMF 'tissue' paper, gumpaste shoe (w/real ribbon). LOTS of fun, definitely want to do more purses & shoes.
Chocolate bottom, carrot middle & spice top. Everything is edible except ribbon. Leaves, acorns & pumpkins are MMF. Only 2" in. tiers, as requested. I still need some MAJOR practice on my square cakes!!!
This is my take on the 'rump.' It's also my first fondant cake. MMF is super easy to make, wish I'd not put it off for so long, & the taste, WOW - compared to Wilton :) Needed a bigger cake board, the R leg is fatter than than the L leg & I rolled the MMF a little too thin for the L leg. I put so many hours into this since it was a first, lots of trial & error, but so worth it & I look forward to the next one!!! A special thanks to the forum members who taught me a few things about MMF....I'd be so lost w/out CC!! Feet & legs are RKT.
Bad lighting for this picture, edited the best I could. Made this one for my daughter's 5th bday in June. Bottom square is yellow, middle tier is chocolate w/chocolate cream cheese filling & top tier is french vanilla w/chocolate cream cheese filling. Mini ponies are on upside down chocolate cupcakes. My first fondant rainbow....not perfect, but I was THRILLED it stayed put. My daughter could NOT wait to eat this cake so she could play w/the new ponies.
This was years ago, but I seem to recall the *brown* on top being peanut butter. Made the 'flags' out of cardstock & toothpicks.
This is for my sister's 21st Birthday. Bottom tier is yellow & top 2 tiers are french vanilla w/a Choco. Whipped Cream filling recipe from CC. Icing is BC. The ribbon on bottom & the bow topper look alot darker than the dark brown it really is. Need to work on my edges, I can't seem to get them even, grrr....

I did these in 2 yrs ago for my cousin's son on his 3rd birthday. I have 3 girls so it's always fun to do a 'boy' themed cake. BC icing on both cakes.

Yes, there is a cake in there...lol. Don't know what happened w/some of the pretzel rods....the speckled look? This was a gift for my eye doctor & his staff members. 8" & 6" round tiers. Chocolate Buttercream on a bottom yellow tier w/a french vanilla top tier.
I did this for a pot luck dinner at my hubby's job a few years ago, first time trying basketweave.
this was my first attempt at a 3 tiered cake. I'm sure you can probably tell it had some serious sweating issues. this was done 2 yrs ago, so I do not remember cake flavors, icing is buttercream. Adhesive gems on sheer ribbon are from my scrapbooking supplies.
I was not yet using fondant, soooo......this doll is covered in buttercream. Messy to me, but my 3 yr old loved it. And.....this cake, along with the other one in the background, had some very serious sweating issues.
Bottom tier is Triple Choc. Fudge, middle tier is yellow w/a caramel filling, top tier is french vanilla w/white chocolate filling. Chocolate buttercream icing covers entire cake. This is actually not a very good picture, my camera did not adjust well with the lighting in this reception area.
