This was my first stacked cake, I made it for my mother-in-laws birthday. Chocolate cake covered with MMF. I made the flowers out of gumpaste and they are dusted and painted with petal dust.
This is my first carved cake, it was for my husbands 40th birthday. I tried to make a cake version of his car. Cake is covered with fondant and I brushed silver petal dust on it to make a metallic look. The tires, mirrors and symbol are made from gumpaste.
I made this cake for our Twilight DVD release party- it was a HUGE hit! The top cake is chocoate with buttercream and covered with fondant, the bottom cake is blood red velvet with cream cheese frosting and covered with fondant. The figures are all hand made and painted gumpaste: Wolf, Cullen crest, heart, apple, flowers and chess piece. The picture is an edible image that I ordered online.
