Buttercream with Fondant Flowers. My first attempt at morning glories, I just wish they were in season so I could've had one to look at.
Covered in BC with plum fondant accents and flowers. Cake held up pretty well for a 96 degree day with high humidity, in a pole shed. I was so stressed over melting frosting!

This is my first purse cake, and I chickened out on a larger one, So I put it on a sheet and added a white chocolate jewerly box that I frosted and tried to make look like crushed velvet, and filled it with a fondant scarf and real beads. I think it turned out ok.
Freehand Thomas, but I did cheat on the face and just cut it out of paper. Birthday boy couldn't speak he was so excited--it was worth it.

My daughter's grad cake(gulp) and if anything could go wrong, it did. I bought the wrong shimmer dust, Had to patch where my youngest ate the chocolate fondant, and then my sister came over and just started to help out, which was ok, but she didn't do exactly what I wanted. But the job got done, and here it is.

Birthday cake for a teen, who wanted something a little different. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet, I used different tips for dressing up the sides a bit, I like textures it created. The family did like it though.
This was one of those "calls" the day before the event. So I whipped this out really fast, and the icing job wasn't the prettiest, but I did really like the fondant baby under the quilt, and thought I'd share

John Deere birthday cake made for a farmer, the cap was made with cake, fondant and icing. It was a rush order, and the first time I've attempted the baseball cap idea. A green tractor with tractor tracks behind it will be in the empty space, it was provided by the customer

My second wedding cake, it turned out ok. I was really proud of the sheet cakes. At first I was worried about how to elegently decorate round sheets, but they looked really nice. This was a tough one, they traveled about a 100 miles.(yeah i know, i shouldn't even have tried) I did have to re-ice the top tier on site, oh well I learned my lesson. The bride didn't even notice and loved it.
I made this cake for my sisters shower, it was my first 3 tiered cake. I tried to make it look like 3 boxes stacked, don't know how sucussful it was. and the bow was my first too. This was a really fun practice cake.
