50Th Wedding Anniversary

This was for a very special couple at my church. We used there original cake topper on their 50th anniversary cake. I couldn't believe she still had it. I cleaned it up and added a new bow to it. I think it is so cool to use it on their Big 50th cake as well.

Bird Silohuette Wedding Cake

Made this cake for a dear friends daughter's wedding. Bottome tier red velvet with orange cream cheese filling. Top tier white cake with buttercreme filling. Both tiers then covered in fondant. Bird silohuettes in fondant and branches in in royal icing.

Black & White Wedding Cake W/splash Of Red

White cake on bottom and top tier with raspberry filling. Middle tier has orange cream cheese filling. Fondant symbol in the middle with black satin ribbon. Buttercream icing. Had problems with the bottom tier :o( Hate that a muffin top formed on the bottom tier. Hope it didn't get worse before the bride and groom cut the cake and pics.

Beach Theme Bridal Shower Cake

Made this cake for a client who is having a bridal shower for their granddaughter. Can you guess where they are getting married? LOL. White cake with white icing and used piping gel for the ocean. Fondant for the sea shells. Got the idea from Silverc who was gracious enough to give me a couple of tips. Thanks Silverc!!

Baseball Birthday Cake

Made this for my nephew that just turned 15. He's a great baseball player. Yellow cake with white buttercreme icing. Used graham cracker crumbs between the fondant bases and sprayed Wilton green color for the field. Then used Wilton's grass tip for the grass.

Toadly Awesome 1St Birthday

Made this cake for my granddaughter's 1st B-day. Daughter wanted to do a frog green and purple theme. My first sculpted fondant animal and number. Really had fun doing "first" for my granddaughter's "first" ....lol...Birthday!

Hand & Foot Cookies

First time making sugar cookies. Made these for my Mom and her friends who play the card game Hand & Foot every Sunday after church. It like the card game Canasta. Took them over there this afternoon as a surprise. They loved them. Buttercream icing. TFL!

8Th Birthday Cake

Made this cake for my niece who turned 8 yrs. old. She had a sleep over birthday party. Her mother wanted me to make the cake the shape of the sleep mask she bought to give to her friends. I didn't think it would be large enough to serve everyone, so I put it on top of a sheet cake. Wish now I only made the sleep mask in one layer. It was a little to tall. Live and learn. TFL.

Pink & Brown Baby Shower Cake

Made these 2 cakes as a demo cake for my daughter's future baby shower next month. Dark chocolate fondant on pink BC. She really didn't like the roses on the cake. She thougt it looked too grandmaish. LOL. I told her I am going to be a grandma. Will do a couple of more demo cakes for her to see if I can meet her expectations. Until then, the guys at work are loving the cakes. TFL.

My First Wedding Cake

Finally finished my first wedding cake. White cake with raspberry filling and BC. Had to use packaging tape on both sides of the ribbon to prevent the oil from the BC from seeping through. I was so nervous, since there over 200 guest!
