I finally got the courage to try a fondant cake. I certainly is not perfect - but I am very pleased with the turnout. Gumpaste roses - fondant "lace" and pearls.
I'm a newbie to cake decorating and very pleased with how this turned out. It was for my granddaughter's school party. I shamelessly copied this idea from someone else here on this great site. Fondant bow, leaves & berries - buttercream icing.
