Jungle Shower
For a jungle themed baby shower. BC with fondant accents. This week happened to be extra humid, so all my fondant pieces took forever to dry or broke and got thrown away, so this isn't as elaborate as I planned, but the best I could do. I have very little experience, so any tips on helping fondant dry especially in humidity are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

My Cake
This is my own birthday cake I made last weekend. It was my first time making MMF. I imprinted the MMF on a vine mat (kinda hard to see in the picture), and decorated with handmade roses and fantasy flowers for which I used a 50/50 ratio of fondant and gumpaste. I used a cheesy doily print cake board because I was way to tired to make a nice fondant covered board. With all of my 4 months of caking experience it still takes me forever to do everything.

Royal Tiara
This is my first attempt at a royal icing tiara. I drew a simple pattern, so that I could focus on the technique. It was also my first time using the Choco Pan white chocolate fondant, which tastes very yummy, but melts like crazy in the heat/humidity... it was definitely a learning experience, good thing it was just a practice cake my kids got to eat :)

Cars Theme
For a good friend's son... and a HUGE birthday party. The cake is a 16 inch with two 8 inch rounds next to it and cake under the car. Decorated in buttercream, and then I made the car out of candymelts. That was fun to try, and surprisingly successful. The candymelts are tasty, and it sure beats making RED icing :)
