I made this yesterday for a 50th anniversary, i made the topper with wire, feathers and padded hearts and stars with crystals. I thought it looked quite effective... what do you think? Thanks for lookig xx

Well I wish I could take credit for this cake... Yesterday was my 40th birthday. I knew that my hubbie was making me a cake for my big day but was not allowed to see... Can you imagine my face when I saw this!!! He made it himself. I was sooo amazed. It is far better than anything I have ever done... He can make all my cakes now hahahaha
I have made this tonight for a Halloween part tomorrow. It is Maderia sponge with jam and buttercream, covered in sugarpaste. Wow I have never entered a cake into a competition before... Its Spooooky hehehe
