4 layer white cake with swiss meringue mocha buttercream with rapsberry preserves
i wanted to do buttercream only frosting for taste test reasons & did not want it covered by fondant. the ribbon & bow are the first things i've ever made out of gum paste & fondant. overall it's far from perfect, but i am satisfied with it as a first effort. the cake itself is a 3 layer vanilla almond cake with buttercream & raspberry.
