Just an up-close picture of the cake topper I made for my moms cake. Royal icing with silver dragees. I was really happy with how they turned out, they were my second try because my 3y.o. ate my first ones, and at the birthday party my brother was messing around and broke one of them off.
This is a cake I made for my mothers 44th birthday, I did all of the decorating in about 2 hours, other than the flowers and the topper. I did those two days in advance. I also used the faux fondant with the viva paper towel, but I don't really care for the way it turned out, and I dabbed on some of the super pearl luster dust. All edible decorations.
Hollow white candy melt ball filled with hand made truffles, decorated with royal icing and painted with luster dust. My first attempt at a decorated ornament ball, but next time I think I will start it atleast a week in advanced to make sure it has had time to dry.
Cake for my son's 3rd birthday, it is the last year we were going to do Spongebob. Cake is a yellow cake with alternated vanilla and chocolate pudding, buttercream frosting. Spongebob's body made of candy melts, arm's are lollipop stick dipped in candy melt and hand's I had to do free handed(took forever!!), and sleves are mini mallow cut in half.
My VERY first attempt at a themed cake. White cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. Tower bottoms made of fondant and tops made of sugar cones covered in candy melts.
