Yu gi oh cake (whatever that is). I just painted this onto a piece of fondant and layed it on the cake. Looks simple but took me forever! This was the first time I had painted fondant and I learned a lot!
My sister recently became a prison guard and requested a cake with a guard frisking down an inmate for a dessert contest with her co-workers. She won. She told me about this cake THE NIGHT BEFORE and that's why the guys are kind of propping each other up. They weren't dry yet! I was still making the guard when she walked in. I wish I had gotten more notice. I could have made this so much better! It's still cool though!

This was made for my son's kindergarten teacher. They were having a party for the teachers that were retiring and this is exactly what they wanted. I swear I am not making this up. They had what they wanted written out on post-it notes. I tell you, that was one awkward conversation but hilarious! :)
This was a three tier square cake for an Eastern Star Grand Visitation. The Worthy Matron's theme was apples. It was chocolate w/ fudge and choco chip filling, vanilla w/ buttercream and white choco chip, coconut w/ buttercream and fresh coconut. It smelled so good!
This is the first big wedding-style cake I have done. It is vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with indydebi's icing. (Thanks indydebi, it worked great!) It took me almost 3 days and I am really happy with how it turned out!

Lightening McQueen cake for my 6 year old's birthday.
I am so proud of this cake! I hand sculpted Eeyore. Everything is hand painted. This was my first try at gelatin butterflies and I did not use a mold because they are on back-order! :( lol I will get them soon! This was for an International Order of Rainbow for Girls Installation of Officers. Her theme was Eeyore. Thanks for looking!

I had to make 2 of these cakes. I started them at 12:00 and had to have them completely finished and delivered by 5:00 that same day. That includes baking time and cooling in the freezer. I don't know how I did it. I am not entirely happy with them but at least I had something for the Seussabration at my son's school. lol Rule of thumb: no matter what, make sure you have enough time! :)

A Volkswagon Bug cake made for 19th birthday for my brother's girlfriend. Only had about 4 hours notice for this one and another cake to do the same evening. I think it turned out well and I love the license plate number courtesy of my husband's imagination! lol :)
Curious George for a Second Birthday. George is made out of MM fondant with a skewer inside of him and plastic rolly eyes. We made a isgn on the computer for him to hold in his hand that was removed and replaced with 2 candles when it was that time.
We added figurines of the characters just before serving.

Made for my son's pre-k end of year luau. The teddy graham is on a towel made from a fruit roll-up and the umbrella is one of the ones you buy for drinks. The water is just blue icing. They were a huge hit with the kids!
