11 x 15 inch 1/2 white 1/2 chocolate with BC icing. Argyle plaid was done by placing toothpicks every 2 inches along the edge of the cake and then "connecting" them with a diagonal line. I then piped BC over the lines. Monster High characters are hand painted fondant plaque.

For my BFF's daughter's wedding. Wanted to do something they had never seen so I searched CC for inspiration and combined 3 of my fav ideas along with mixing shapes. 3 tier white cake with 6, 8, & 10 inch tiers. Quilted diamond pattern on bottom tier. 3 layer middle tier with monogram. Rosette pattern on top tier. Fondant free. Decorated entirely with Almond flavored icing.

Made for 2 teen boys. Client gave me a pic of the cake she wanted. 11 x 7 inch 1/2 White and 1/2 Chocolate cake decorated entirely with Buttercream icing. I piped the camop pattern and smoothed it with the Viva paper towel method. Then I used a homemade stencil to apply the assault rifle and grenades and piped details with a #2 tip. Words on board are royal icing.
Sprinkles the Ogre cake from the last Shrek movie. Made by my 16 yo daughter and her best friend as a surprise for my last birthday. Since my daughter usually wants NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with cake making, it was one of the best gifts I ever received.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS A MONTH LONG POWER OUTAGE! We were without power and went to a friend's house for Christmas. She had power...what she didn't have was cake decorating supplies. She had baked the cake but all I had to work with was red, blue & yellow icing colors and a ziplock bag. Oh, and a couple of chocolate chips.
