Jaws
I had to use a lot of creativity to figure out how to keep his top jaw open, but I think it worked out o.k. The shark is made from a chocolate zucchini cake recipe - which differs from using rice crispie treats as other cc members have done. (rice crispies would have made this easier, but I enjoy a challenge!) The cake is inscribed "Happy Birthday 'Jaws'hua" - he thought this was pretty funny!

Stitch From "lilo & Stitch"
I made this cake for my 6 year old son's birthday. Stitch is his favorite stuffed animal, so it only seemed fitting to make this cake for him. The arms are made from marshmallows, the paws are Reese Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, and the ears are foil covered cardboard. The cake is sitting next to our beloved stuffed animal in this picture. Thanks for viewing.

Captain Jack Sparrow
I took the 3D Spiderman to a whole new dimension. This was my first attempt at a 3D pirate. I must admitt, I had no idea that the licorice dreadlocks would look as good as they did. The styrophoam head is covered with fondant, all the facial features are completely edible, and the facial hair / chest hair was made with tinted coconut shreds. This cake was fun to make and was a major learning experience for me!
