My daughter always feels "slighted" having her birthday so close to Christmas so I made her a FASHIONISTA Birthday Cake and took it to her class today for everyone to celebrate with her! (ha-ha) Vanilla cake covered in choco fondant, hand painted gumpaste,R.I. & rock candy for diamonds.

I made this, this morning, for my daughter's "Kids In The Kitchen Class" at Middle School. I baked the pumkin cakes in aluminum candle mold that I recently bought !!! Vanilla cake, stoop & and accessories are fondant covered.The kids like buttercream so I did everything else in that. FUN to do!!!
This is my "Final Cake Project" for my Wilton Course #3 Class. The 4 table legs are WOOD, but everything else is edible. Table top & vase are fondant covered cake.Postcards & framed photo are edible images.Everthing else is carved gum paste or piped royal icing. Spanish shawl is Choco-fondant w/ piped royal icing fringe. I turn it in this Thurs!
Only my 2nd cake order since attending my Wilton Classes! My neighbor had a Reptile Party for her 4 yr old daughter and wanted a Snake Cake to feed 70+ guests. YIKES! Vanilla bundt cakes w/choco filling and fandant covering. Head,tail &tree are Rice Krispie Treats. Tiara,lizards,tree frogs,etc are Royal Icing. EVERYTHING is edible........Thanks for looking!
