These are some cookies I did for the September cookie club in the cookie forum. They were inspired by GeminiRJ's amazing owl cookies. Fun to do, but cutting the ears out and attaching them was awful. :)

I made this to use up some fondant and ended up losing interest before I finished. Exciting, I know.
The cake is actually Macsmom's Hawaii Five-O pineapple cake with banana creme, coconut creme, and mango filling, so I thought it only appropriate to give it a beach design for the decoration. It's my first time using an airbrush, and I didn't practice, just jumped into it. It's all BC icing. It came out better than I expected because I had no ''plan'', but there are a few flaws that I overlooked when I shouldn't have. I'm also not pleased with the palm tree trunks so I have another method I want to try next time I make them. Thanks for looking :)
This is the first cake I've done in over a year. It's all BC on an 8 inch round and it came out better than I thought it would. I did it the pastel colors because they feel kinda ''spring time-y'' and I didn't have any other real excuse to make a cake.
I made a replica of the ''Autumn Hibiscus'' featured in the most recent ACD for DH to take to work for a coworker's birthday. I think this is by far my best cake yet and I was super proud of it. It has more hibiscus buds than the featured one, but I had some ugly spots to cover. :-P I still need a lot of practice on smoothing buttercream. ;)
I used the Wilton Fish Pan to make this cake for my older son's 2nd birthday.
I did this cake for my younger son's first birthday. After much consideration, I've decided I hate doing the star cakes :)

DH is having a potluck at work tomorrow, so this is what he's taking. Of course, he told me he needed this... yesterday. It's now midnight and I literally just finished it about 10 mins ago. Never done reverse shells before and my base shells need a lot of work, but oh well. As for the ghastly poinsettia on the top... I had the mentality of ''I can fix this''... I do kinda like the colors though. It's BC on a triple chocolate 9''.
Well, this is my course graduation cake for the Wilton Course 1. Yeah, it's really bright and gaudy, but I figured ''hey! I'll make a cake in fall colors!'' Overkill, much? And it says ''Welcome Home'' because I need the writing practice and that's what would fit. And I obviously still need the practice. So... this is it. Incredibly, it's not the first cake I made. I made some before I started the classes that were ridiculous and I never took pictures.
