Made this cake for my cousin's wedding. Inspired by a cake by Carrie's Cakes. White boxed cake with BC. Covered in fondant and royal icing decorations along with gumpaste bows and roses. Cake was a HUGE success.
I made this for a baby shower (having a girl). the party theme was Tea Party and everyone was asked to wear a hat. The hat boxes and hat are covered in fondant. and everything else made from gumpaste. The large cake had to be baked and completed the same day which is why the fondant is sagging. Also, a waiter from the restaurant tried to help me carry the cakes in by GRABBING the cake with his hands (he didn't realize it was cake) so I had to turn the cake around and add extra flowers.
I made this cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I copied the idea from Wilton.com (a great place to get ideas for beginners). The cake is chocolate chip with raspberry filling and white chocolate and cream cheese buttercream frosting. The large candles and number 2 are in fondant and the small candles are Wilton.
This is my first tiered cake. I made it for my daughter's first birthday party which had a circus theme. I got the idea from Wilton.com and added the seal on top which held her candle. Cake is different boxed cakes with buttercream frosting. The animals are in fondant.
