This is my second attempt at a cake bite tree. I think I like them better as one flavor, the back is a little disorganized.
I did this cake for a 21st birthday. Client LOVED it. I think one of the reasons that I am most happy with it is that I feel like I priced it accurately.
This is a VERY small wedding cake for a couple that wanted pastel butterflies and pastel flowers.
Pastel toned cake with gumpaste bow topper
This is one of my display cakes, but I love the clean lines and all white finish. I think the ribbon with the rhinestone accent makes it a bit modern.
This is my hommage to Earlene's Wizard of Oz cake. The MOB brought Earlene's photo and wanted their cake almost identical. We removed a few things and changed the topper. The poppies are gum paste and the yellow brick road is candy clay with a little yellow luster dust.
This is the first time I've done this topsy turvy method! I'd love any tips, suggestions or feedback.
I forgot about this cake until 5 hours before it was due. Oops.
This was my SIL's wedding cake. She found several different cakes with design elements that she liked and we combined them into this one cake. All accents are MMF with cakes iced in BC. This was the tallest cake I've done yet. Any feedback is appreciated.
This was for my sister's baby shower. This is also my first belly cake. I was quite pleased. Thank you to all the CC'ers for the help.
Simple cornelli lace with chocolate lillies and leaves on top. These are only 3 inches high as they were having a smaller wedding reception.
These are leaves that will be on a wedding cake. They are made out of modelling chocolateand dusted with a little gold dust.
this is the finished version of the cake I posted earlier with the plateau and flowers, I have to say that I am quite pleased. Any thoughts are welcome!
This couple came to me with 3 weeks before their wedding. They wanted the bottom tier to be marbled to have a multi-toned grass effect. Each stone was handpainted to stand out.
the brown icing is not chocolate, but regular buttercream colored brown. it took a lot of bronw! :)
This is my first wedding cake that I actually think looks like a "typical" wedding cake. It's about the 10th one that I've done.
