So this cake will make me laugh forever. So many firsts here. 1. I have never made a cupcake cake 2. Tried the Frozen Buttercream Transfer for the first time. Where it all went wrong. 1. I knew it was a practice run so I didn't take it seriously. I didn't buy the tube icing for the outline and attempted to make it with super stiff Grey icing with a Number 5 tip. 2. Since the outline was so thick the details weren't as lovely as I would have liked. 3. As a trial run I didn't plan the icing and ran out of the beautiful aqua blue I made. 4. Even though I have done classes 1 and 2 through wilton, I haven't actually done cake decorating in over 3 years. I am just starting up again and this was my practice run. Tried the frozen transfer for my sons birthday cake. Hopefully I will have that up in a couple of days. Over all, despite the "disaster" I think it came out ok,,
During my first Wilton Class I made this cake for my Fathers Birthday. Chocolate cake with Buttercream icing.
