Starburst Pattern Cake
Got this idea from a picture I saw in a magazine. I made raised imprints of the designs with the stuff you use to make designs on sweatshirts (kind of rubbery stuff) - sorry, for the life of me can't remember what it's called. Anyway, when the design dries you just lightly imprint the design in the icing and then go back and fill in with icing. This is a display cake I made for a bridal show. Thanks for looking!!

New York Skyline
The bride and groom met in New York, so they had me duplicate the skyline around the bottom of the cake and for the cake topper. They had seen a similar design in a magazine and wanted me to duplicate. The cake is buttercream. I made the buildings out of gumpaste and hand painted each one.
