8in double fudge chocolate with oreo buttercream fill. 10in dummy bottom. First cake in a while. took a bit of a hiatus while i started a new job and relaxed for a bit! The bday girl was very excited!
My fave so far! For a co-workers daughters Sweet 16 Surprise party tomorrow! Top is WASC w/ buttercream, bottom is choc. with oreo bc fill. 8 and 6in. My first time doing jewel wire stuff! and you might not be able to see it but the "ribbons" are a little marbled. She saw a cake at Pinkcakebox with those and that's what she wanted. Cake ball pumpkin in French Vanilla, Casper is 2 6in and 1/2 ball cake in chocolate w/ a chocolate 11x15. Rhondas Ultimate MMF and True Black MMF as in the recipes section. The kids LOVED it!!!
12x12 Yellow Cake cut to shape, bc fill, Chocolate Fondant colored black with a Silver Superman logo. used MMF dyed grey painted silver. for a customers birthday.
I made my first batch of True Black MMF! I've never covered a cake before! it turned otu ok considering i couldn't find my smoother!!! so i used my hand.. i have to practice my corners. didn't feel like doing much so just put some contrasting white/black flowers. 8in square chocolate w/ BC fill. This was a practice cake. First time making MMF/covering a cake. i think it turned out so cute!!! 2layer 6in round with 1/2 sports ball pan on top. chocolate w/ bc fill.
11x15 choc with an 8in round on top. all 1 layer, no fill. fondant accents. i was really busy this week and didn't get the stars/numbers made till the night before. tried putting in the fridge but they still didn't harden enough. so i slapped 2 toghether w/ candymelts in between and painted candy melts on the back of the numbers and they stayed! ;) For my friends 10 year reunion.

12 in square yellow, bc fill/frost. fondant accents. 1st bow, 1st square pan, 1st plaque/paint technique. need to work on putting my bows together and smoothing sharper corners but everyone loved it!!
8in chocolate round with bc frost/fill. Just a quick cake for my great friend at work who LOVES frogs! so i thought i'd take this opprotunity to try my first 3d figure! All fondant except for the icing. Cat tails on spaghetti noodles. Did a little wavies on the top and then a "wave" type border on the bottom. Thanks for looking.

this was for my Best Friends son's 18th Bday. He's going to LSU in the fall. The color did look more purple then the picture does. i put paw prints all along the side
I forgot to take a picture before we sliced into it. I feel that my roses resemble heads of cabbage. lol
This is my first cake from Wilton's Course 1 using the clown heads. i made the mistake of using red instead of no taste red so advised my family to not eat the clowns due to the bitterness! Lesson Learned! LOL
