Request was for a feminine cake with a bow using the colors of pink and blue. This was my take on that. My first time doing the daisies, that was fun!
10 inch round cake with pearls. That color is actually more pink than it looks. The customer asked for watermelon pink and didn't give me an example so that was my interpretation. Top cake is 6 inch square in pearl white. The lid is rkt sitting on a piece of cardboard all covered in mmf. Lid is supported with dowels. Bow on top is mmf. Ring is a napkin ring from michaels.
Made this for a dear friends's birthday who loves Mary Engelbreit. 6 inch lemon cake with lemon buttercream and lemon curd filling. Everything is MMF decorations except for the gumpaste flag. The cupcakes are real cupcakes also covered in fondant.
This was my first wedding cake and my first time making gumpaste flowers! I couldn't find much instruction on the wisteria, so I just did what I could. I was completely nervous, but very excited. I stressed about it for weeks, but had SO much fun doing it!
