Made with fondant and modelling paste, this castle was inspired by cakesunleashed (thank you). The request from the 6 year old birthday girl was for a fairy cake...thank you to liis for the fairy instructions! The birthday girl was thrilled and so were her parents! It was a lot of fun to make and I was very pleased with the end result, especially being my 2nd cake.
This is the cake I did for my first course (Sydney, Australia). Also my first time on cakecentral! The bow is made from modelling paste (thank you to Sugar Wonders Cake Club) with shimmer and royal icing corelli lace.
