This is a cake I made for my niece for her birthday. It is yellow cake, baked in a soccer ball pan. The head is 2 small 4" cakes, cut and rounded. The legs and trunk are made of rice krispy treats. The cake is covered in in fondant.
This was made for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Yellow cake with buttercream icing. Mr. Grouper, Gil, waves, and the "pearls' are fondant.
This is a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries on top, and pirouettes lining the outside. This is a very easy cake to make. It takes no time at all. Someone had mentioned waiting to put the pirouettes on, because the icing makes them soft. I waited until a few hours before I presented the cake, and they were still crisp. My mother was thrilled with the cake.
Made with buttercream and ice cream cones. Sleeping Beauty is made of 50/50 gum paste and fondant.
