Can you do a cake for a 21 yr old and 50 yr old - all in one cake?? Fortunately, I know the 50 yr old likes to drink too! Just thought I would put this out there for anyone who gets a similar request. There's nothing really special about this cake. TFL!

This was for a 50th birthday. I made a fondant "50" for the top but because it had to be moved to the party site, I didn't get a picture with it in. Cake was 12" chocolate and 9" yellow. I used an impression mat for the diamond pattern and it was my first attempt at a fondant ribbon and SugarShack's buttercream. TFL.
Customer said do whatever you want in a tropical theme so I contacted another CCer on here re the volcano, made pretzel based palm trees with fondant leaves and used cocktail umbrellas and leis to complete the look. There are malibu rum with coconut cake cake truffles, orange cake with Triple Sec cake truffles and white cake with Bailey's cake truffles. The cuppies with cocktail umbrellas where either margarita or strawberry daiquiri flavored, the rest chocolate. It was 100 degrees and you can see it was outside so the truffles melted, but everything else held up. Thanks to the CCer who helped with the volcano!
Top cake was white with raspberry filling; royal icing flowers attached to regular ribbon with royal icing; cupcakes were chocolate, white and yellow with royal icing daisies on top.
Fall wedding; basic flavors - white, chocolate and yellow - no fillings. TFL
Chocolate and vanilla standard and mini cupcakes in various shades of blue. Although not in the picture, I also made 75 cream puffs dipped in chocolate ganache which filled the stand up more. Made the topper on the fly.at the site. TFL!
All buttercream - 200+ buttercream roses!! This was a cake for my cousin's wedding. I don't remember the flavors anymore - sorry! There is a light flower pattern I pinpricked around the cake. TFL

This cake was for a friend's dad. It was 100 degrees out that day and raining! I had a heck of a time keeping the buttercream in place. The flames are orange and yellow gumdrops with a black string licorice wick.
An ageless cake (?). My fingers were blue for a month! :)
My dish to pass! This was a ton of fun to do. I free handed dracula based on the invitation. The red was hard to get right, but I think I nailed it!
I tried fondant and failed! The top all tumbled about an hour before my guests arrived! Everyone laughed but said the cake itself was good. Live and learn! Fondant needs to set more than 24 hours! ;)
Graduation sheet cake with the school mascot Frozen Buttercream transfered on top. First time I tried it!
This is my first mixed fake and real cake. The top two squares are white cake with raspberry filling. I tried the high humidity frosting (it was an outdoor wedding) for the first time too. I thank everyone who gave me advice on fake cakes. Next time I hope to get it more square! :)
