This was for me and my two best friend's Mardi Gras themed birthday party. It's banana's foster flavored with banana rum and buttercream frosting! Everyone loved it!!!
I made this cake for my niece's b-day and everyone loved it!!! This is the second sculpted cake I've made and it came out great! I used the how-to tutorial on here and made some minor adjustments. It is butter cake with chocolate cream cheese BC. Thanks to CC members for inspiration!!!
a.k.a. The Toxic Margarita Cake. lol. This was a headache cake but tasted great. I'm still not happy with the outcome but everyone loved it. I use the berry cream cheese filling from CC and it tasted great!
I made this "Smash" cake for my nephew's 1st birthday. *I was just looking at this pic and thinking about what I'd do differently next time... Then I remembered, I had just sat down to start decorating when my prego sis called and said, "Come quick! Baby's on the way!" I thought, oh crap, I still have to finish this for my other sis! This is the fastest I've ever frosted a cake! LOL. Anyway, I was just over analyzing myself and that thought made me smile and appreciate my cake more! Just wanted to share!

I made a couple dozen of these or a child's birthday party. The easiest way to carry them is to cover a large cake pan with plastic wrap and cut an "X" into for the cone. If you use foil it will tear. Just a helpful hint!
This is a cake my little sister helped me decorate for a family get together last Easter. The rabbit is made out of two 9 inch round pans. She decorated him with a bunch of sprinkles and I helped her use cream cheese frosting to pipe/frost the rest. Thanks for looking!
Everything is edible with the exception of the dowels in the palm trees and cake for support. I used Michelle's WONDERFUL recipe for my fondant. The top layer is carrot cake with homemade cream cheese frosting and the bottom layer is devil's food with a cherry filling and homemade cream cheese frosting as well. This is my first try at something like this and my second try at fondant. It was a big hit at the party. The inspiration came from other Cake Central users. Thanks for looking!!!
