This was for my Granddaughters 1st birthday. It was chocolate cake with chocolate icing and peanut butter icing filling. The cookies on top were made from a 4" cake split in half, iced with the peanut butter icing and topped with chocolate chips. Milk bottles were fondant. cookies on the side were store bought. Kind of an odd cake for a first birthday until you saw how it all tied in to the theme and decorations of the party.
50th Birthday cake for my friends surprise bash. Whipped cream icing with gum paste decorations.This was maiden use of my new cricut machine. Used real wine in glasses since I was assembling the cake at the party. Had to put a lipstick mark on the glass since she leaves one on every glass she uses!
I copied this idea from one i saw on cake central with a 2 instead of a 3. Thanks Lorimc for the great idea! Trees were made out of ice cream cones, and the 3 was carved from a 1/4 sheet cake.
