Chocolate cake with mocha chocolate buttercream on the inside and chocolate mmf on the outside. Daisies are ivory(as per wedding colours) and are made from gumpaste/mmf mix. Commissioned by someone who saw my blue triplet shower cake!
This cake was done for a special birthday party. The recipient is a gardener so bugs were requested. The design was partially taken from a cake seen in a local cake shop window, but modified to be more cartoonish. Thanks to andrealinn for bug inspiration. I really enjoyed doing this one despite the late night!

I made this cake for my friend who is pregnant with triplet boys!!! It was the first time I made a cake using any of the flowers I recently learned from the new wilton fondant & gumpaste class. It is MMF with gumpaste dasies and babies.
