Cake I did for my Grandma's birthday. Edible Images, buttercream and chocolate. Flowers are fake.
Edible image Darth Vader...
Mostly BC with fondant eyes, nose, and mouth lining. Arms are marshmallows wrapped in fondant , then piped with BC.
Wanted a simple 50 cake with their colors, burnt orange and olive. Both are rum cakes, all butter cream.
Did this cake for my cousin's birthday. It was my first purse cake, so I know what to do next time. She is a Kobi freak, hence the colors. Fondant with a couple dragees.
Styrofoam Christmas tree on top of 8 inch round cake. All buttercream and Coconut snow...
The words and collage are edible images. The rest buttercream.
Made for my little cousin's eighth birthday. All buttercream.
This cake tied in the theme of a Vegas themed birthday party, and the guest of honor's favorite team, the Redskins!
My nephew couldn't decide, so I did a Batman/Superman cake with an edible image plaque and swirled cupcakes all buttercream except Batman and Supermna emblems and board...
Didn't quite come out the way I wanted, but the Birthday Girl loved it...guess it especially looked good in the dark!
Combined the beach, pirate, and 4th of July into one theme? Pirate ship with waves (cupcakes), and a small beach cake covered with Graham crackers. All buttercream icing.
Yellow Cake with Strawberries, Blueberries, and whipped icing...
The Bride and Groom wanted a simple cake with beads and calla lillies.
This is a cake for an 18th birthday party. Used all fondant except for the happy birthday.
Just a simple swirled buttercream cupcake with a chocolate malt ball on top that is a bowling ball!
OK...so I think I get an A for effort, and a B-C for execution. Haven't mastered the rice krispie treat thing yet, and I was running out of time. I am still pretty novice. The guests of honor loved it though!
Did not use the Wilton wonder mold...used rice krispies treat to form her bottom, then covered in fondant. Also used silk flowers along the aisle.
I am not traditional...so, here is my final cake! My teacher encouraged creativity, so here it is!!! Fondant, with fondant flowers, and a huge painted flower of coloring and water...
