8" & 6" buttercream cake. Both layers are vanilla caramel cake with buttercream filling. Fondant/gumpaste bow and button daisies. Fondant leaves, ribbon roses and buttons. My dh made me put on the name plate (he thought that the cake wasn't "personalized" enough, it was for his secretary, so I guess he got a say) and I had the silver piece lying around from something I had made (that's why it doesn't really go with the pink, white and yellow colour scheme). 8" & 6" buttercream cake. Top tier is turtle (chocolate fudge with caramel and pecan filling), bottom tier is Raspberry swirl with raspberry filling. Buttercream clouds, fondant and gumpaste stars, snoopy and moon. I also added a basketball because the parents are B-Ball fanatics (and are both over 6' so there is a good change that the little one will play basketball!). This was a cake I made for my only niece's first birthday party. It was the first time I have ever done a stacked cake and the first time I have ever used fondant. I would love feedback on it. It is a 12" WASC with raspberry and white chocolate ganache and then an 8" Chocolate fudge with cookies and cream filling. Topped with fondant stems/leaves, RI butterflies and daisies, and fondant/gumpaste bow, ladybugs, and bumblebees.
