Graduation Cake

My daughters graduation cake. Buttercream frosting, black chocolate notes, royal icing flowers and swirl on top dusted with silver pearl dust, and tiny fondant flowers.

Spartan Cake Msu (Michigan State University)

This cake was made for a MSU (Michigan State University) fan who's birthday happened to fall on the day that they played their rival The University of Michigan (UofM). You will notice the borders are blue and yellow for UofM and the large "S" for MSU. The cake was decorated in all buttercream.

Graduation Cake

My daughters graduation cake done in her school colors purple and white, we added silver and black to make it pop. The black and white diamond shapes and stripes on the 2nd tier were cut from sugar sheets, the polka dots were fondant rolled thin, the carnations were gum paste lightly sprayed with silver, and the picture frame on top was just an inexpensive real frame.

Art Of Retirement

Cake for a retiring art teacher. The crayons are made of melted chocolate in different colors.

50Th Anniversary

Anniversary cake with orchids, freesia, and roses made from gum paste. The stripes and the flowers were dusted with gold pearl dust.

Chelsea's Grad Cake

The books are made of cake and covered in fondant. The instrument, ball and bat are made with gum paste.

Fun Birthday

The blue marble is made of fondant and imprinted with a Happy Birthday mat.

Fall Leaves Birthday

The leaves are made of marbled fondant and the cake is iced in butter cream frosting. The borders and branches were made from butter cream chocolate frosting.

Shamrock

The Shamrock and the green marble are made with fondant and the cake was iced in butter cream.

Confirmation

Cake I made for my daughters confirmation group. The cross was a stencil I made and the dove was made out of fondant. I used butter cream frosting to cover the cake and spray color on top of it. My writing was really off that day.

My younger Daughter helped me make the Peace symbols for her sisters cake out of fondant.

Bowling Ball

Bowling ball cake made for a childs bowling birthday party/ The bowling ball is covered with butter cream frosting that is marbled. The frosting is white with color added and not fully mixed. I had to add color more than once being careful not to mix too much.

Valentines Conversational Hearts

50Th Anniversary Cake, Heart, Amsmith

Hearts on top are fondant plaques with texture. The 50 on the front of the top tier is of fondant with gold pearl dust on it. The flowers are made of fondant also with pink pearl dust to make them sparkle.

Twins Baby Shower Cake

The clothes on the line were made with fondant.

Classic Pooh Baby Shower Cake

Pooh is made of fondant and the green plaque he sits on is also fondant. The swirls were made on butter cream frosting with a textured rolling pin.
