I made these for my mother-in-law. Her roommates from her sorority were visiting and we wrapped these and left them on their pillows :)
These were ordered for a girl who had just received her driver's permit. She hates the color orange, so that limited the traffic signs I wanted to do :)
The fair's theme was "Dancing w/ the Steers", so I copied their t-shirt design for the cookies. I did have to hand cut the shapes. When I turned them in I felt terribly guilty b/c the other cookies were obviously done by kids. I almost didn't turn them in! But, I won a blue ribbon :)

Simple cake for a man's birthday. His sister ordered it for him. She wanted a St. Patrick's Day theme since his birhday is around St. Patrick's Day. This was the first cake a client took out of town - I worried about it all weekend :) She said it arrived safely and everyone loved it ;)
This was a quick cake I put together for my husband to take to the office for his birthday. Red velvet cake w/ buttercream. Got the hat idea from several other CC members - would love to do it w/ fondant :)
I'm very proud of these! The realtors loved them :) I think next time I will outline the balloon so that there is an even line between the colors. Plus, I may do the basket in blue.

The birthday boy wanted orange balloons w/ blue strings. So, that is why they are on sticks :)
This is my first attempt at a cookie bouquet. I'm not 100% pleased w/ it. But, I'll keep working on it ;) The lady that won it for a door prize was thrilled w/ it.

Acorn has royal icing. Apple is MMF. The leaves - I colored the dough w/ yellow and orange gel coloring, rolled out and cut, baked, then brushed on a clear glaze.
I piped (chocolate candy coating) the legs onto wax paper. Just a bunch of the number 7. Then attached to the cake ball w/ a dab of chocolate. I didn't quite get them finished, I wanted to add red pupils,but ran out of time. These were for an adult halloween party and everyone loved them.
Under the Sea cake for a little girls' 3rd birthday. Cake is WASC and blue icing is buttercream. All seashells and accents are colored chocolate.
