Barnyard First Birthday
My daughter and I made this for my grandson's first birthday. Barn is made from pound cake using Wilton house pan. Animals are gumpaste/fondant. Haystack is rice krispies bar. Fence is pretzel sticks. Tractor is a toy. Everyone loved it. Barn was leaning pretty badly. Forgot to add supports to cake before putting it on, but don't think that was the whole problem!!! TFL!

The Singing Penguin Family
This is what you do the day after Christmas when you just want to do nothing! LOL I watched Aine2's video and went to town. Didn't want to stop creating penguins! Now, I have to find a reason to use them. Maybe a New Year's cake! I brushed them with pearl dust to make them look "chilly"!

Maxine 50Th Birthday
I made this for my baby sister who turns 50 today. I have been waiting all year to do this for her and am thrilled with how it turned out. Thanks to my daughter for coming and helping with all the letters or I'd still be working on it! I used wafer paper and edible marker to trace Maxine. I love that stuff!

Little Sheep Birthday Cake
Ok...so I found a reason to use one of the cute sheep I made a few days ago. This is a birthday cake for my niece's 26th birthday. I think it turned out pretty cute except (uh oh) I used the worst looking side of the cake to be the front...how many times has this happened...LOL....anyway it's one more learning experience and I'm sure she'll love it! ;) TFL

Pirouette And Strawberry
I know many of these have been posted before but I wanted to post mine with a bit of advice. If I were to make another I'd probably not make it too far ahead of time as the cookies tend to soften being next to the icing on the cake and to me they really aren't very good soft! I made this the night before so that is really too soon if you want the cookies to remain crunchy! But this makes a really pretty cake.
