Made this red, white & blue WASC with strawberry filling for a friend that lost her son in Iraq. Covered in buttercream with fondant buttons, belt, patch. Covered foamcore with fondant for top of 6" WASC hat and brim. This was a labor of love and deep appreciation for this young man's ultimate sacrifice for his country. Marcus was unable to buy his "Dress Blues" because he was deployed to Iraq & was going to buy his dress blues once he returned. His mom wanted his LCP patch on this "dress blues" cake.
Wasc 14", 12", 10" and 6". First time doing roses, wedding cake, 4 tiers, monogram plaque, lots of firsts but glad for the experience. The groom wanted all white with vanilla buttercream, but no, I had to talk him into different flavors, so 14" is Vanilla with lemon zest WASC with lemon b/c and lemon curd filling. 12" chocolate Wasc with chocolate b/c and strawberry b/c. 10" was the easiest and groom's first choice of vanilla WASC with vanilla b/c. 6" chocolate WASC with chocolate b/c and strawberry filling. Whew, lots of flavors should have listened to the groom! His favorite turned out to be the 14" lemon flavored one.
Made my first turkey cake for my daugter's potluck at work. There were those that thought that this was a real cooked turkey (they thought it looked sort of wierd) but when told it was a cake then the cameras came out, love when that happens. TFL

Characters are all handpainted after using a RI stamp on the fondant. The large shell all fondant as all other shells. RI coral and NFSC used for sand. Banana enhanced cake with banana filling from this site. TFL
Made this for my grandson whose party was in a pizza place and the looks we got when we walked in was neat because they thought they were real. Fondant covered with fondant fries and condiments. Used piping gel with food coloring for catsup.

My first attempt at making this fondant covered Hannah Montana Guitar cake for birthday girl. Enhanced banana cake with banana filling from this site (tasted great). Individually cut letters for the name, lot of work.
