Us Air Force Basic Training Graduation

This is for my son's graduation from basic training for the Air Force. It's also for his 21st birthday which is a week later. buttercream and mmf. Taking it from Ga. to Texas so hopefully it will make the trip.

White Winterland Wedding

Everything is made from royal icing. I got the carriage pattern from Cakelady247 and the church from Kay_NL. I never got the steeple on the church, After smashing it twice I gave up on that part. I took this 120 miles to enter in the Ga. State fair. The horse fell over and when I went to stand him back up I broke off the overhang of the roof. I tired to save it the best I could. At least it still looked good enough to turn in. Hopefully it made it through judging this morning without falling apart.

Penguins made from the Hello Cupcake book. I used cake balls instead of doughnut holes for the head. They are for my son's 21st birthday so I wanted to look like they were going to a party.

Deer Hunter

This is the new igloo pan I got on sale. I was actully going to make an igloo until my son came in and said it looked like a turtle. It was just for us so that is what it became.

Beach Birthday

Total cheat. Premade cake deocrated with stuff from the stationary section. I know we couldn't eat the decorations but it was just for my birthday and I didn't want to put much effort into it.

Zoobilee Celebration

What a better way to celebrate zoobilee (admission only $1) then with a cake. This is my version of the zoo cake after looking at all the ones on here. Pezz and gramcacker crumb walkway. BC iceing.

Red Carpet

This was done for a sweet sixteen. The pictures on the film strip are edible images of the birthday girl. We made movie posters of her to match. Starts and decorations are MMF and it's icecd in buttercream.
