I made this for my niece's first birthday...first time molding with any sort of sugar. frosting is magnolia bakery's buttercream, cats and yarn ball are fondant.
The top was foam, covered and decorated in fondant. I was too nervous to try fondant on real cake for the first time! Flowers and freehand and wilton cutters, the animals and bugs are fondant.
