I made this cake for an office party. They have a "mustache contest" every year and celebrate its completion it on Cinco de Mayo, and so they call their contest "Cinco de Moustache."

Dress Up Girl - Pink

Cake decorated with pink frosting. Purse, sunglasses, bracelet made out of gum paste. The boa is a real one, found at a craft store. Also used real rhinestones for the purse and sunglasses.

Anniversary Luau

I made this cake for my friend's parents who were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a big Luau. It is a 14", 12", and 6" cakes. The tiki hut is made of cupcakes. Most decorations are made of gum paste, and the rest with fondant, including the hibiscus flower.

Cottage By The Lake

I made this cake for my father-in-law's 60th birthday. This is a replica of their lake cottage, which he built himself. The house itself is made with gumpaste (on a foam base), tree trunks and a couple of other decorations are also gumpaste. The rest, including the tree tops and swans are fondant. Grass and sides are frosting and sand is brown sugar.

Graduation

Bottom is a 12" square cake decorated with frosting. Gradation cap, tassel and diploma are made out of colored fondant.
