First time making a fondant bow...think it turned out ok or at least better than I expected.

Made this for a little girl turning 7. I guess in the Phillipino culture 7 is a big birthday and they do seven of everything. So I made 7 small 4" cakes and a 10" cake. BC frosting with butterflies bought at a craft store. Fondant roses and hearts.
For my daughter's 7th birthday...she picked out everything. Even told me how to to the mermaid. Not my favorite but she helped and she loved it.

Client wanted sea turtle w/ babies going to the see. Iced w/ bc, fondant accents, coral is chocolate.

For neice's 5th birthday, forgot to do the swirls on bottom layer so I had to stick flowers on at the last minute.
Had a super terrible time w/ this cake. Reminder to self....don't put carrott cake on top of light/moist white cake. It makes the bottom layer sink. Had a terrible time fixing it and then the fondant didn't want to cooperate. The ducks kept breaking and wouldn't color right. I was never so glad to be done w/ it.
First purse cake, took awhile and learned alot.
Inspiration from CC of course, bottom is white and chocolate checkerboard, cupcake is homemade strawberry cake. Bottom is covered in bc and cupcake has cream cheese frosting. Bottom and bottom part of cupcake are fondant. Hello Kitty candy and suckers.
