Practice Cake For Groom Cake
I've been asked by a lady I work with to make the grooms cake for her wedding. It is a second wedding for both of them and will be very informal. Since I haven't done much decorating I wanted to make sure I could handle doing a cake this size. I think it turned out well and everyone said it tasted wonderful! By the way, that is a fondant doe (female deer). The final cake will have a male and female so it will be easier to tell it is a deer. Most people thought it was a dog. HAHA! TFL!

Chocolate Poker Fun
This is another picture of my first attempt at decorating cookies. I made these the same timeas the dinosaur cookies. I wasn't happy with the taste of the NFSCâs and RI so I melted some (candy molding) chocolate wafers and spooned it on the top of the cookies. I will try the colored wafers next time. They taste so much better than the RI. These are outlined in black RI and were the first cookies to go! TFL!

Ahhh Dinosaurs!!
My first attempt with cut-out cookies! NFSC recipe with Antonia74's RI. I am disappointed with the taste. I would like to find a recipe with more flavor but still with the non-spreading consistent texture required for cookie cutters. I used 1 tsp of butter, almond, and vanilla flavor in the cookies even though the recipe only says 2. The RI was hard to use but this was my first time. Next time Iâll make it thinner. It wasnât shiny though like I expected. You are welcome to PM me tips or better recipes. TFL!

Pretty Pink Package
This is the first cake I've attempted to do with fondant and only the second cake I've ever decorated. I made the fondant using Rhonda's ultimate MMF recipe except I used strawberry marshmallows (made it taste super yummy). I made the fondant bow using franjmc's tutorial. There were a few times when I wanted to throw all the fondant in the trash but I persevered. I forgot to roll stitching marks on the bow⦠oops! People at my work said it was too pretty to cut into. First time is always the roughest. TFL!
