last week a made a cake and so many people asked me to come and give workshops again. so oke, here is my small weddingcake workshop example.

made these with lots of fun. they wished for a cake with black, white, silver and purple and a wavy top. for all the rest I was free to do what ever I wanted. love these kind of cakejobs ;)

tomorrow is my 40th birthday but I'll have to work. so I thougt I should treat our costumers at the hairsalon. so I made 120 of these.
used my new crackled rolling pin. also made 120 mini cupcakes but they are in the cupcake airea.

my first try, but pffff what is chocolate dipping hard. it's not easy to get the chocolate everywhere and in all corners. but hey, just take very overexposed and slightly blurry photo and it looks delicious don't you think? ;)
it had to be lots of pink and lots of frills, flowers and other girly things. this is my first cake after a few weeks in a wheelchair, my hands were a little bit shaky and the temperature was hot so my fondant was not working very well with me. it took me lots of energy to create this cake but I'm very happy with it. I just took a icing/piping workshop a couple of weeks ago and this was my first try on a real cake. I love it. hope you like it too.
had the urge to bake a cake just for myself ;) usualy I bake cake but always for someone else. now I'm temporarily sick and in a wheelchair but I felt desperately in the mood for cake. so as good as it gets, went to the kitchen and kept on going. trying some new stuff I bought but did not have the time to use it yet. hope you like ;)

just made it for practicing my icing and topsy. this is the first time I'm proud at the shape of my topsy, icing needs more practice but it is a diffucult shape it's round and wonky
for my co workers for dying my hair today. made these ribbons out of silk glued them with icing, the pearl is also icing. special thanks to Tessje for her idea for the ribbon on a cupcake
I have to make a wedding cake for 180 (!) persons. well. my largest cake was for 80 p. but they thought i could do it perfectly. so after they told me what they want, just 3 decorated with sunny red coulered roses and the rest just plain with swirl and pearls i desided to bak them their wedding cake. it looks kind of strange on the photo's but they will have their own cakestand and on the largest cake they will have a small statue wich means a lot to them so I just left an empty space ;) so this is the decorated part and there are six more like the largest one except for the roses.
my son gets a ride to his gym every tuesday. so for this easter I baked them a thank you cake. I don't like the theme for easer so just a lovely spring time cake.
just made these for fun on a sunny sunday morning, all straciatella/vanilla cake with a thin layer of lemoncurd covered in fondant
