Fresh strawberry cake (3 layer), filled with whipped cream (with piping gel) & strawberry slices, thin layer of cream cheese frosting, wrapped in vanilla buttercream, topped with fresh strawberries. Survived 98% humidity on the drive to venue....and reported delicious by wedding party! TFL!!
Chocolate cupcakes, vanilla buttercream...I used edible rice paper to trace design, turned out pretty good, I'm pleased to say. Toy light saber added on top. TFL!!

Each number made from 2 - 8" squares, 7 = vanilla, 0 = chocolate. Kept decorations simple, for 70 y/o man. Vanilla with strawberry filling, vanilla bc & Chocolate with bavarian cream filling, vanilla bc.
My nephew wanted a Diego cake....I worked very hard using the pinprick method, then took the guide off...and all my frosting came with it!!! NY Deli Cheesecake with sour cream/powdered sugar topping. Made decorations with piping gel & color gels....came out similar to an Old Hollands Delft color tile.
I asked my daughter to select her favorite LPS toys to top the cake, using their color scheme & curly font. Bottom layer is Buttermilk Vanilla with chocolate shavings, with Strawberry jam filling, and top layer is chocolate cake with Bavarian cream filling, buttercream frosting overall.
Lemon cake with Lemon curd cream frosting, BC decorations. I have to say I was inspired by our own BCJean (love her dvd!!). Name was done in chocolate writes.
