Usaf Drill Sgt. Hat Top View
Top view..This is a cake I made for my hubby's co-worker's going-away. It is 3 - 8" rounds stacked and then carved to the shape of the hat. The brim is cardboard cut to shape. It is filled and crumb-coated in buttercream and then covered in fondant. The medalion was made out of gumpaste painted with silver luster dust that I made from a handmade mold of the actual medalion. It was all made exactly to scale of my husband's Drill Sgt. Hat. The Drill Sgts. were crazy about it! It was my first attempt at 3D

Gumpaste Stargazer Lilies & Fillers
This was my first attempt at making a wedding topper. I taught myself how to make the stargazers at home. I made 2 that were practice, and then I made these. It was a topper on my first wedding cake! The bride just cried and cried when she saw the flowers! Everyone was amazed! I'm pretty happy with my first attempt! Suggestions/Comments?

First Wedding Cake Close-Up
My first official wedding cake. It was a 3 tier (6", 9" & 12"), staked cake with 2 - 2' layers in each tier. It was filled & crumb-coated with buttercream and covered in White Fondant. The Ribbons were strips of fondant embossed with a rolling pin and brushed with Luster Dust in white. The flowers were all gumpaste & hand painted with edible chalks & luster dusts. My sister-in-law was kind enough to bake and fill the cakes for me and assist me in covering the cakes with fondant. Suggestions/Comments
