I did this cake for my boss' wife. She loves turtles. WASC carved out of an 8". Covered in Modeling chocolate with hand painted details. Small cake is a 4" WASC covered in modeling chocolate.
Little mermaid cake I made for a friend @ work's granddaughter. Cake is carved and stacked wasc w/ vanilla buttercream. Covered in Choco-pan with hand painted sea grass and modeling chocolate rocks & flowers. Ariel is modeling chocolate.
This cake was for a lady who works @ the prison and is leaving to go to nursing school. Cake is WASC with Choco-pan. All decorations are gumpaste except scrub top is Choco-pan. The large cross under the cake was bright red. Not sure why it looks so brown & streaky in these pictures.

This cake was for the son of my Husband's boss. Choco-pan fondant, fake flowers provided by the bride.
I work @ Lowe's. My HR manager asked me to make a sheet cake to celebrate the end of a management training course I was in. I don't do sheet cakes, so I did this instead. The faucet, paint bucket, roller tray & roller, hammer & nails, and 2x4 framed wall are all made of gumpaste and then painted. The garden hose is fondant, and the roll of vinyl flooring on top of the cake is gumpaste & fondant mixed.
A lady I work with always has theme parties for her grandchildren. This little girl is turning five and decided she wanted a pirate theme. The cake is based on the plates & etc they got @ oriental trading. Cake is fondant with fondant hearts & gumpaste based scull & crossbones with a fondant covering. Eye patch, treasure map, & alligators are fondant. Sand it brown & white sugar mixture.
Be gentle, this was my first ever wedding cake, and my first four tier cake, and my first topsy-turvy cake. My best friend married my husband's brother in a gorgeous outside wedding on Oct. 18th. She wanted a topsy-turvy with fall leaves. Leaves are gumpaste. Cake is fondant, and foam wedges are wrapped in fondant. The ribbon at the base of the foam wedges is real at the bride's request. This design was inspired by a cake by CCer veragatafera.
