I made this cake for a friend. It was my first time making a modeled figure on a cake. The model is gumpaste and I painted it...I should have colored the gumpaste first, but I'm still learning!
This picture isn't the greatest, but this is my first large wedding cake that I have made. It was very nervewracking to put this thing together, and it was very heavy. The colors that the bride chose were ivory, champagne, and very light blue. It is all buttercream icing, and it took me about four hours to decorate, and about an hour and a half to put together.
This two heart cakes, one yellow and one is chocolate. The icing is all buttercream except for where the candy sits. That is dark chocolate icing. Enjoy!

I made this cake for a customer that wanted something for children. It's just a regular sheet cake with a design hand drawn onto it. I got the picture off of the internet somewhere. Funny thing is I can't draw on paper! This took me about two hours to do.
